The Village Hall is a perfect setting for societies, clubs and exhibitions. It is situated in one of the most sought after villages near Berkhamsted with a beautiful Village Green adjacent to it and ample car parking. It provides for a range of activities and events.

Sydney Renee Courtauld erected the hall and caretaker’s cottage in the 1920’s on a parcel of land she owned in the centre of Potten End. It is beautifully built and well maintained. The hall is 14.3m by 7.5m and has been kept up to date, with modern central heating and new double glazed windows with electric window openers. It has a screen for presentations, seating for 120 and Wi-Fi. You can set out the layout of the Hall to meet your purpose. There is a lovely wooden floor that is ideal for and regularly used for dancing

There is an adjacent room, Courtauld Room, which can be used for small groups and a fully fitted kitchen which has a modern commercial dishwasher. You are able to use whichever caterer that you wish and we can provide you with a list of suppliers who are familiar with the Village Hall.

Accessibility is excellent with the whole site on one level, blue badge parking spaces and disable access toilet.

We would love the opportunity to show you around and discuss your requirements.
